Advanced Gastroenterology of Bergen County, P.A. offers a full range of gastrointestinal care for patients. Founded over 37 years ago, our Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Gastrointestinal Endoscopy practice is dedicated to the evaluation and treatment of all digestive system diseases including those effecting the esophagus, stomach, small intestine, colon, liver and pancreas.
Our physicians, Drs. Richard K. Chessler, Barry M. Zingler, Mitchell K. Spinnell, Michael E. Meininger and Marc A. Fiorillo, are all board-certified in Gastroenterology and have been recognized by peers and patients alike for their expertise and standard of care.

Conveniently located in Bergen County, they began performing Colonoscopy and Upper Endoscopy (EGD) in their Medicare approved Ambulatory Surgery Center almost 20 years ago. Our new, state-of-the-art medical offices and ambulatory endoscopy center, which opened in June of 2011, is located in Englewood Cliffs, NJ, just minutes from the George Washington Bridge and is accessible by public transit. This new Medicare approved facility affords patients access to our physicians at times that are convenient to them, while eliminating much of the inconvenience that may be associated with having their Colonoscopy or EGD performed in a hospital setting. For those patients that choose to have their procedure performed at the hospital, our physicians maintain privileges and are closely affiliated with two of the area’s most respected hospitals: Englewood Hospital and Medical Center in Englewood, NJ and Holy Name Medical Center in Teaneck, NJ.
Our practice participates in most major medical plans and accepts various payment methods.
